Our English teacher has invited us to attend a party at his house at 7:00 tomorrow evening. Here is how to get there.
From our school, walk along Main Street to Central Avenue and then turn left. Walk up Central Avenue two blocks to the bus stop at the corner in front of the post office. Take the Central Avenue bus and get off at Fifth Street. Then turn left and walk along Fifth Street three blocks to Part Avenue and turn right. Walk up Park Avenue one block and you'll see a bus stop at the corner of Park Avenue and Sixth Street. Take Bus No.42 and get off at Rolling Road. Then turn left and walk along Rolling Road. Turn left again and walk to Holly Lane and turn right. Walk along Holly Lane to the end of the block and our teacher's house is the last one on the right.

This is a column chart showing the grain harvest of countries C and S between 1998 and 2000. In C, when the corn is reduced in 1999, its corn remains not to be changed. The chart shows us that the three-year-to wheat inereases. On the contrary, while the wheat in S suffers a rapid sink, its tal of S is greater than that of C. The total production of both countries has gone through a progress in 1998, a sharp fall in 1999 and gradual return in 2000. We may thus conclude that country S is more productive that country C, only if there is no disaster.

On my way home last Friday afternoon, I saw a young lady walking slowly in the street with a handbag in her hand. A young man riding a bike came up, seized the bag suddenly and took it away. The lady could do nothing but cry for help. Just then I happened to be walking around the corner and saw what had happened. I had a box of push-pins with me, so I threw all of them on the street. When the man rode along, as I had expected, the bike got its tyres punctured and the young man had to get off. So we caught the young man and got back the handbag. The lady was so thankful to me, but I said with a smile. “That's my pleasure.”
