1. To be frank with his wife, he stayed home every night accompanying her.
这个句子中的 to be frank with his wife 是 stayed home 的目的状语,其逻辑主语是 he.
To be frank with you, it is impossible for you to cover up your mistake.
2. Talking of his disappointing son, the old father flew into a rage.
该句中的 talking of his disappointing son 是现在分词作时间状语,逻辑主语是 the old father.
Talking of their disappointing son, he is now a danger to his neighboring residents.
Truth to tell / To tell the truth, your plan is impractical.
To be fair, she has made a great contribution to our company.
So as to say, your daughter is the most diligent among them.
To speak bluntly, that student is sure to fail the English examination.
To sum up, he is a competent monitor.
Generally speaking, newspapers follow the American way, but conference reports and schoolbooks use the British spelling.
Supposing ( that ) there was an earthquake, what would be the right way to escape?
Not counting the retirement pension, Mr and Mrs Kupe earn 2,600 dollars a month by running a flower store.
Assuming that there is the chance, what is the use if he cannot come back in time and avail himself of it?
Considering her age, her knowledge of computer programming is really marvelous.
Concerning this affair, we can wait and see it come to obvious.

I'll lend you my cell phone providing you return it to me in a week.
Simply stated, only a fool like Sam will believe this humbug.
Given their inexperience, they've done a good job.
Granted / Granting the truth of what she has said, she ought not to be so pride to us.
Judged / Judging by his strange behavior, the guy must be a thief.
We are to deliver the ordered digital camera to your door provided / providing ( that ) you pay the money into our account.
