1.Hands up! Drop the gun!Now don’t make a move!
Don’t make a move!（不许动！）
这个句子大家都很熟悉吧，make a move表示移动、走动。make a move还有一个特殊的用法，下棋的时候走一步棋就叫做make a move.
2.Would you mind coming with us to sign a complaint？
Would you mind doing sth？（能麻烦你……）
mind后面要接动词的ing形式。比如：能麻烦你开一下窗户吗？Would you mind opening the window？学一个新用法never you mind，就是“没你的事”。不过千万别对谁都说哦。
3. no use doing sth （做什么都是徒劳的）
和他吵架是徒劳的。这句话应该怎么翻译？
应该是：It’s no use arguing with him.
我们还可以把这个句型补充完整：It’s no use （for sb）doing sth.记住，这里是接动词的ing形式。
4.Sealed!（我们被关起来了！）
出口被堵住，无法原路返回了，是不是就像是信封被封了口呢？
5.Me neither！Let’s go！
如果要你翻译“我也不……”，你第一反应是不是就是neither can/do/am I？
丁丁告诉我们其实“Me neither”就可以表达了。简单又容易上口，而且还很有气势，不是吗？
6.The bullet only grazed your ribs.
graze one’s rib （擦过肋骨），这句台词常用在惊险剧里。
7.In the meantime, you get some rest.
in the meantime（在……期间，同时），这个短语也可以写成in the meanwhile.
Please find a taxi, and in the meantime I’ll pack some food.
你去叫taxi，我打包一些吃的。
8.We’ll dispose of him later!
dispose of意思为处理，安排，解决，除掉。dispose of sth.意思为处理事情。dispose of sb.意思为解决、除掉某人。
9.You’re stuck in the melted tar.
stick in（陷在……里），这个词很形象。比如这两 个短语：stick in door（呆在家， 不出门），stick in mind（ 铭刻在心）。
10.Behold the judgment!
behold 是look的正式一些的说法，也可以单独使用，类似“看呀”。

11.I’d like you to take my card in case you decide to sell.
in case （of） （万一）
Take a hat with you in case the sun is very hot.
倘若太阳晒得厉害，你就把帽子戴上。
在这个短语中间加个the，意思就大不同了：in the case of （就……来说，关于）。
12.And speaking of the model...
speak of （谈及，说到），常常在口语中用来转移话题。
Speaking of angels,and you will hear their wings.
这个句子翻译过来就是一句有名的俗语：说曹操，曹操就到。
