大理州实验中学简介
大理州实验中学是作为我州高中教育改革与发展的重大举措之一，经州委、州人民政府决定，由具有百年办学历史的大理师范学校转制而成的一所州属全日制重点高级中学，2005年秋季开始在全州范围内招收首届高中生。
在长期的办学实践中，学校形成了“文明、求真、勤奋、奉献”的校风，“热忱、严谨、精当、灵活”的教风和“博学、多思、慎取、笃行”的学风，建立健全了一整套具科学性、针对性、实效性的教育教学管理制度和规范、严密、高效的运行机制，教育、熏陶了一代又一代师生，在州内外享有很高的声誉，被首批评为云南省一级中等师范学校，被教育部列为全国办得好的115所中等师范学校之一，是中央教科所德育实验学校之一。
学校处州府所在地大理市下关，占地面积57610平方米（约86.5亩），校舍总建筑面积36000平方米，校园宽敞，布局合理，环境优美。有联合国儿基会提供的近15万美元的电教设备，有世界银行项目购置的60台钢琴等，有高档次的完备的理、化、生各科实验设备，有集办公自动化系统、多媒体教学系统、远程教育系统、图书管理系统、视频点播系统、电子阅览系统为一身的校园网，有配置高、性能好的教学用计算机200台，图书馆藏书11万册。近几年来，在州委、政府的大力支持和学校的不懈努力下，学校规划建设稳步推进，校园面貌日新月异，为前来就读的学子提供了理想的学习生活环境。
学校拥有一支学识丰富、素质优良、教风严谨的教师队伍，其中特级教师３人，高职教师39人，中职教师43人，40岁以下教师66人。这支队伍荟萃了一批各学科门类的拔尖人才，且年龄和职称结构合理，熟悉教育规律和特点，教育教学经验丰富，有较强的教育科研能力。2002年，学校组织52名中青年教师参加西南师范大学硕士研究生课程班学习，现均已取得毕业证书。自明确转办高中以来，学校通过组织原有教师到昆一中等省内高中名校培训、招聘高中教育教学实绩突出的学科带头人、遴选优秀高校毕业生任教、实施“盖普”项目引进外籍教师等举措，大力推进高中教师队伍建设，力求以一流的师资造就一流的学生。
学校的学生管理和德育工作一直规范严密、成效显著。从党总支到政教处、团委会、学生会，从年级组、班主任到班级，形成一整套完善的工作网络和运行机制，规范有序、扎实有效地实施了对学生的教育和管理。针对当今学生实际和转办高中的需要，并从拥有完善的全寄宿学习、生活条件的优势出发，学校实行了全寄宿半封闭和分类管理，同时不断加大奖学助学力度，着力营造良好的学习、生活氛围，无微不至地关心每一位学生的思想、学习与生活，努力教好、管好、服务好每一位学生。

The Brief Introduction of Dali Experimental
High School
With the decision made by Dali Prefecture Government, Dali Secondary Teacher School, which has a history of one century, has been changed into one of the key full-time middle schools in Dali district－ Dali Experimental High School. It has enrolled the graduates of junior schools from all Dali since the autumn of 2005.
During the long-term experience of running the school, it has formed a school spirit of civilization, truth-seeking, diligence and devotion; the teaching styles of zeal, rigour, appropriateness and flexibility; and the study styles of knowledgeableness, thoughtfulness, carefulness and progress. The teaching administrative regulation of scientificity, pertinency and practicality has been worked out, and the running mechanism of regulation, meticulsity and effectiveness has been set up. Dali Teacher School was evaluated as a first rank secondary teachers school. It is one of the 115 secondary normal schools which are listed as the excellent schools by the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the moral experimental schools of the Central Education and Science Institute.
Dali Experimental High School is located in Xiaguan, Dali. The school covers an area of 57,610 square metres (about 86.5 mu). School buildings occupy a ground of 36,000 square metres. The school yard is spacious and its layout is rational. Surroundings of the school are picturesque. There are audio-visual education equipments that the United Nations Children’s Fund offered and sixty sets of pianos which were given by the World Bank Project. The school boasts high-grade and complete experimental equipment of all kinds of subjects, such as physics, chemistry and biology. The school owns a set of perfect school local area network, including office automation system, multimedia teaching system, distance learning system, book management system, video system and electronic reading system. The dispose and function of 200 computers for teaching are excellent. The school library boasts a collection of 110,000 books. In recent years , with the strong support of Dali Committee and the sustained efforts that our school made, the layout and construction of our school is steadily developing, which is changing the out-look of our school day by day and provide an ideal environment for the formal students’ study life.
Our school has a group of teachers, all of whom have great knowledge, good quality and strict teaching style. Among them, three are superfine teachers, 39 are senior, 43 are intermediate and 66 are below 40 years old. The group assembles talented persons from different major subjects. Therefore, the construction of their ages and professional posts is reasonable. They are not only familiar to the regular characteristics of education, but also have rich teaching experience and stronger scientific and educational abilities. In 2002, our school organized fifty-two teachers, who were middle-aged or young, to further study to the class for the graduated students of the Southwest Normal University. Now each of them has got a graduation certificate. Since it definitely changed into high school, most teachers have been joined the training course at several key high school in Yunnan province. In order to reinforce the teacher’s team, several experienced teachers have been enrolled and the most excellent graduates also have been employed working in school. Meanwhile the international program “GAP” has been implemented. The school intends to encourage the qualified teachers to cultivate the best students in future.
The work of student management and moral education is standard and tight, producing a marked effect. From the party branch to the office of dean of political education，the committee of the Youth League，and student union, from grade group, from head teachers to class, our school has formed a set of perfect working networks and operating mechanisms. Students’ education and management were put into effect solidly and effectively. According to the present reality and the need of changing to a senior high school, and with the perfect residential learning and living conditions, our school takes the residential and half-closed measure to charge the students in classification. At the same time, we still increase the scholarship and the grant-in-aid. Our school also tries to construct better learning and living atmosphere, and meticulously cares about every students’ thoughts, learning and living. We also try our best to teach students well, take learners in hand and serve every student.
Dali Experimental Middle School will act on the instructions of the school idea, which is humanist, let the talented person strong school, let the scientific research grow school and let the quality set up school. It will create a first-class management, a first-class environment, a first-class teachers, a first-class quality.
